SITE was involved in the design and delivery of Longview Playground from concept through to construction. The project began with concept design options, developed in close collaboration with the client and developer, who played an active role in shaping the play equipment selection and overall direction.
SITE supported the resource consent phase and prepared detailed design documentation for the playground, surrounding landscape works and subdivision street tree planting. This included liaison with QLDC Parks, as the future asset holder, to resolve key matters relating to layout, accessibility, equipment integration, planting and maintenance.
Constructed by the developer and handed over to Council, Longview Playground provides a welcoming neighbourhood play space that supports everyday recreation, movement and community connection. SITE also undertook construction observation to help ensure the design intent was carried through on site.
