Established in 2017, SITE Landscape Architects is a small, highly engaged practice delivering landscape architecture, masterplanning and placemaking projects throughout New Zealand. Our size allows us to remain agile, responsive and closely involved in every project, while delivering outcomes that consistently exceed expectations.

Richard Tyler is the Founder and Director of SITE Landscape Architects. With experience spanning landscape architecture, urban design, planning, and development, he has worked across New Zealand and Ireland within multidisciplinary design and consultancy teams before establishing SITE.

Richard is a passionate design leader who combines creative thinking with a pragmatic approach to project delivery. He works closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to shape meaningful landscapes.

His expertise spans residential, commercial, tourism, and public realm projects, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, high-quality outcomes that balance design ambition with practical implementation.

Landscape Architect

Meet Jessica, a talented landscape architect with over 6 years of professional experience. Originally hailing from Wellington, Jessica made the bold choice to embrace mountain living in 2022 when she joined us at SITE. She brings her expertise to a range of projects including schools, housing developments, master planning, and residential projects.

Jessica views landscape architecture as an opportunity to unify public and private spaces with ecological improvements. She is particularly interested in wildlife restoration and youth engagement.

Her talents include knitting, drawing, and commuting by motorbike. Her creative and office skills include design work, graphics, and documentation.
